Where Established Businesses Get Stuck

  • 🏢
    Workstation fleet is aging out
Slow boots, failing drives, inconsistent setup across the office
  • 🖥️
    Server or NAS is unhappy
Backups missing, drives failing, no one knows the password to the admin panel
  • 🔐
Onboarding and offboarding is a mess
No standard image, no documented credentials, no clean handoff when staff turn over
  • 📡
Office network was never properly set up
Consumer router doing enterprise work, dead zones, guest traffic on the same VLAN as accounting

What We Do for Fort Wayne Business Clients

Engagements typical of small and mid-size offices that have outgrown ad-hoc tech

Workstation Fleet Standardization

Consistent image, consistent software, consistent credentials. Replacement planning so failures stop being surprises. Asset records that survive staff turnover.

Server & Storage

On-premises server and NAS deployment, backup design and verification, RAID health monitoring, capacity planning. Including hybrid setups that move cold data off expensive cloud tiers.

Office Network Architecture

Proper business-grade access points, VLAN segmentation (separating staff, guest, POS, and IoT), wired runs where they belong, and documentation so the next person who touches it knows what's there.

Onboarding & Offboarding Process

Standardized provisioning of new hires, secure offboarding when staff leave, password and credential hygiene that doesn't depend on the founder remembering everything.

On-Site Engagements

We come to your Fort Wayne office (50-mile radius). Multi-day on-site work is scheduled in advance with minimal disruption to your team.

Ongoing Support for Existing Clients

Once we've done a scoped engagement together, you have a known relationship and standard hourly access for follow-up work, additions, and the occasional fire.

Who This Is For:

🏢

Established Fort Wayne businesses with a real office

📊

Owners who want documented, durable infrastructure

🤝

Businesses that prefer a long-term tech partner over swap-a-vendor

We don't take residential break-fix calls or one-off "fix my printer" jobs. For home office and smart-home work, see our Residential Technology page.

How We Engage

Project / Engagement-Based

New business clients start with a scoped engagement. We assess your environment, write a project scope, and quote it as a fixed engagement rather than an open-ended hourly meter.

  • Initial discovery and assessment
  • Written scope with deliverables and timeline
  • Fixed engagement pricing per project
  • Documentation handed to you at the end

Engagement minimums vary by scope. We'll tell you on the first call whether the work is sized for us.

Hourly Access for Existing Clients

Once we've done a scoped engagement together, you have a relationship and a known environment. Follow-up work, additions, and occasional urgent issues are handled at our standard hourly rates.

  • Scheduled hourly work for known clients
  • Urgent / off-hours work available at urgent rates
  • No hourly billing for brand-new clients without a scoped engagement first

Engagements Always Include:

  • Written scope before any billable work begins
  • Hardware and third-party costs disclosed before purchase
  • No surprise charges, ever
  • Documentation you keep, even if you take the work elsewhere later

Flexible Financing Available

Larger engagements can be split with third-party financing through Klarna, Affirm, Afterpay, and Zip for qualifying projects.

Klarna financing Affirm financing Zip financing Afterpay financing

Financing provided by third-party lenders. Subject to credit approval. Terms and conditions apply. Not all applicants will qualify.

Common Questions

Do you do residential or home break-fix?

Not as workstation/infrastructure work. We do serve homeowners through our Residential Technology page, which is focused on home-office and smart-home buildouts for business owners and professionals - not one-off printer repair.

Will you come look at our office?

Yes. On-site assessments are part of how we scope a real engagement. We'll walk the building, look at the closet, and produce a written scope before any meaningful work starts.

Can you take over for our current "IT guy"?

Often, yes - if the situation calls for it. We're happy to assess what's in place, document what's worth keeping, and propose a transition. We won't badmouth a predecessor; we'll just leave things better documented than we found them.

What types of equipment do you support?

Windows workstations and servers, Linux servers, business-grade networking equipment, NAS and on-premises storage, business-grade access points, and the small server hardware most Fort Wayne offices actually have. If you have something unusual, ask.

Why don't you headline an hourly rate?

Because a headline hourly rate attracts the wrong work. Established businesses get better outcomes from scoped engagements with documented deliverables. Existing clients still have standard hourly access for follow-up work - it just isn't the front door.
